Fariha Khan is a registered psychologist with years of experience providing broad range of psychological therapy to individuals of all ages.
Her primary areas of interest are pre and postnatal depression, personality disorders, chronic trauma, drug and alcohol, disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, chronic pain and weight management.
Fariha is SIRA accredited to provide psychological interventions, vocational assessment & career counselling and return to work services to the patients with psychological injuries referred by NSW workers compensation.
Fariha uses an eclectic approach to therapyand specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, Exposure Therapy, Systematic Desensitisation, Relaxation Training, Response Prevention Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
She also conducts psychometric assessments and reports.
Fariha is fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi languages.
